Born in 1946 in Dauphiné, France, Alain Carron studied at the Beaux-Arts in Grenoble. Carron taught drawing and is now entirely devoted to painting. Inspired by our society, Carron paints burlesque characters with humour and poetic narrative. He has exhibited in different French and foreign galleries for more than twenty-five years.
Whilst viewing the paintings of Alain Carron, the viewer will enter into the world of a playful anecdote often through a burlesque and playful scenario of a dreamlike setting. With unique style and explosive colour, Carron's strange characters invite you to observe the world differently. His imagination and his mastery allows him to transport you into each of his works to a new adventure.
Since 1982, to date, Alain Carron has had many personal exhibitions in France. Awards: Gold, silver and bronze medals between 1982 and 1990 in Nancy, Vittel and Nyons.
