This was painted in Red Cross gardens , near Borough market, it is a very well kept gardens that many local residents and workers enjoy. The pond looked stunning in the sunshine and in late May when I painted it, I came back several times to carry on with it, the frogs spawn was beginning to hatch, and the flowers changing but I managed to finish it within a couple of weeks.
