Biography
italy
Roberta Diazzi was born in 1973 in Modena, Italy, and graduated from the A. Venturi Art Institute in 1992, specialising in graphic techniques. Initially a portrait painter, now pop artist, Diazzi understood from the beginning the importance of pictorial aesthetic as means of immediate visual gratification.

The artist has experimented with various techniques throughout her career. Nonetheless, the use of Swarovski crystals in her artworks is precisely the crafting phase that Diazzi is recognized for. The artworks are easily identifiable by their crystal form. All the artworks are made entirely by hand, by applying each individual crystal one by one: the number of crystals used for each work ranges from 15,000 to 60,000.

Roberta Diazzi has received many important commissions from clients such as the Ferrari family, Luciano Pavarotti, China’s First Lady Peng Liyuan and Sultan Qaboos of Oman. Currently, Diazzi she exhibits in Italy as well as in other parts of Europe, the Emirates, and China.
