Chris Lyters' process is not only visual but also meditative. Lyter allows each piece to take its organic journey; rather than concentrating on the fixed result. The free-flowing process starts with an inspiration of colour, and he paints the works to become their beings. "This, to me, is the adventure of abstraction. The process forces spontaneity, becoming a reflection of thoughts, emotions and mood I experience whilst working".
