We are delighted to share that NONOS (Mercedes and Franziska Welte) have recently been featured in several international publications following their participation in a remarkable cultural project at the Elizabeth Arthotel in Austria.
As part of the hotel’s programme Women in Frame, the artists presented the rooftop sculpture “Sissy”, a work created to honour more than a century of female legacy. The project was launched around International Women’s Day, celebrating the strength, creativity, and lasting influence of women across generations.
The initiative highlights the role of contemporary art in shaping cultural dialogue and recognising women’s contributions in both history and the present day. NONOS’ sculptural work, known for its expressive materiality and bold presence, forms a striking part of this narrative.
At Eclectic Gallery in London, we are proud to represent NONOS and currently present their works in our exhibition “Time to Fall in Love”, where visitors can experience their artworks in person.
