Destroying to build again, this is Salva Ginard's painting

THE MALLORCAN PAINTER OPENS THE DOORS OF HIS STUDIO TO US BEFORE INAUGUATING HIS NEXT EXHIBITION FOR ART NIGHT

Salva Ginard's workshop sounds like spatulas, brushes and splashes of paint that mix with the music and the sound of vehicles passing through the neighborhood of Camp Redó, in Palma. From his workshop, the self-taught painter Salva Ginard creates works where figurative and abstract painting travel hand in hand. Everything, to build the story that is born from the faces, almost always of women, and which are the seed in each canvas.

He thinks about the picture much more than the time he paints. Therefore, you can let go of your hands. The movements come from the heart, says Ginard, who abandoned his career in architecture after discovering Jackson Pollock. Now he prepares several exhibitions. The closest one will be next week at the Ahoy gallery and on the occasion of Art Night. Afterwards, his works will travel to galleries and fairs in London and Germany. Salva Ginard's works are already flying high. He, however, always keeps his feet on the ground.
