Marylebone: Danny O’Connor at Nobu Hotel London

Eclectic Gallery presents a private view, Q&A and live painting
2026

Marylebone London featured Danny O’Connor’s Awakened Dreams ahead of the artist’s private view at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, presented by Eclectic Gallery in collaboration with the hotel. The article introduced the evening as a special opportunity to experience O’Connor’s work in the heart of Marylebone, combining an artist conversation with a live painting demonstration.

The publication highlighted O’Connor’s distinctive visual language, describing his practice as a fusion of portraiture, figures, animals and abstract textures influenced by graffiti, German Expressionism, street culture and the complexity of human identity. It also referenced his wider creative career, including commissions and collaborations with Hard Rock Hotel, Ellesse, Everton FC and V Starr Interiors, as well as artwork created for authors Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher.

The feature placed particular emphasis on the Private View on 13 August 2026, where guests were invited to hear O’Connor discuss his creative journey, influences and future projects before watching him work live. The event formed part of his solo exhibition Awakened Dreams, staged in The White Box at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.

Through the article, Marylebone London also highlighted Eclectic Gallery’s collaboration with Nobu Hotel and its role in bringing contemporary art into one of the area’s leading hospitality spaces, creating a more intimate setting in which audiences could engage directly with both the artist and his process.
