Filmed in North Vietnam, it deliberately moves beyond conventional documentary form, combining historical narration with the testimony of Vietnamese civilians and direct images of destruction. The ICAIC poster was designed by René Azcuy Cárdenas in 1970 and is itself a documented screen-print work.
