"Solaris 9" by Seong Gu Lee is a captivating sculpture that mesmerizes the viewer with its enchanting blend of form, reflection, and materials. Skillfully crafted in stainless steel and bronze, this remarkable artwork is part of the artist's "Solaris" series, which explores profound themes of self-discovery, the human condition, and the interplay between the inner and outer worlds.

At the center of the sculpture stands a round mirror, its polished stainless steel surface radiating a captivating sheen. The mirror becomes the focal point, symbolizing a portal to inner realms of introspection and self-reflection. Drawing inspiration from Stanisław Lem's novel "Solaris," the series delves into the depths of human consciousness and the elusive nature of perception.

Surrounding the mirror, Lee's sculpture manifests an intriguing array of organic and geometric forms, meticulously crafted in bronze. These elements represent the complexities of human existence, with delicate curves and flowing lines signifying the fluidity of thoughts and emotions, and sharp angles and precise edges representing the structured aspects of our lives.
