A self-taught artist, since she combines the real world and bright colours from the childhood. After her studies, she spent most of her time travelling around: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, Spain, Italy. She met a lot of people, learned their stories, local myths and legends. It was so inspiring that she began to write prose and poetry. But, it was not enough: images, shapes and memories urged her to return to painting, and so she did.
“I like history, myths and legends - all of it inspires me to paint. But, what I like the most are emotions - our regular daily life is a diverse mix of feelings. Love, joy, desire, sadness and many others - all of them I try to capture and express through colours in a balanced harmonious form. I use a palette knife and try to express emotions in fast large strokes so I do not lose the feelings and visions.
I never plan ahead the colour variations and shades, I use very thick layers of paint. For
