Duke of Walrus

Cassandra Loomis Kim is married, a mother of rambunctious twin girls and a corgi.  She has a BFA in illustration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Straight out of college she got a job as an artist for Trader Joe's and for 15 years she painted murals, created chalkboards, designed signs and anything else visually needed for a store. On the side she has freelanced doing murals and menu boards for restaurants, portraits, and nursery murals.

In 2013 she had the opportunity of a lifetime as the artist in-residence for the Klondike Goldrush National Park and Chilkoot Trail in Alaska and Yukon, Canada.
