2026

Eclectic Gallery and artist Caio Locke were featured in SALT Magazine ahead of COMO Conversation: Caio Locke, held at COMO The Halkin in Belgravia on 24 September 2026. Written by Chris Sadler, the article introduced Locke’s distinctive cityscapes and explored the ideas behind his dreamlike approach to architecture, memory, culture and collective consciousness. The feature described Locke’s paintings as imagined urban worlds where architecture, colour, history and multiple perspectives come together to create places that feel both familiar and surreal. It also highlighted his wider career, including exhibitions at Christie’s, the National Museum of Scotland and the Royal Hospital Chelsea, as well as public commissions including the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt and London Elephant Parade. The publication also focused on Eclectic Gallery’s collaboration with COMO The Halkin, presenting the event as an opportunity for guests to discover a selection of Locke’s new and recent works, meet the artist and hear more about his creative process and fascination with the cities we build and imagine. The programme included an informal conversation, Q&A and a live painting element, creating a more personal introduction to the artist and his practice. SALT Magazine

Through the feature, SALT Magazine positioned the event at the intersection of contemporary art, architecture and urban culture, while highlighting Eclectic Gallery’s role in bringing Caio Locke’s work to new audiences through its partnership with COMO The Halkin. SALT Magazine
