Dreamlike Cities: Caio Locke in Our Culture

COMO Conversation at The Halkin
2026

Our Culture featured Anglo-Brazilian artist Caio Locke ahead of COMO Conversation: Caio Locke, a special evening organised by Eclectic Gallery at COMO The Halkin in Belgravia on 24 September 2026.

The publication introduced Locke’s intricate, imagined cityscapes and the ideas behind his practice, describing urban environments where architecture and speculative futures overlap. It also explored his connection to both London and Rio de Janeiro, as well as his transition from a career in law to becoming a full-time artist in 2007.

The article highlighted Locke’s use of acrylic and oil, informed by his early background in etching, and referenced significant moments from his career, including exhibitions at Christie’s and the National Museum of Scotland, alongside public commissions such as the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt and the BFG Dream Jar project with Steven Spielberg.

Organised by Eclectic Gallery, the evening at COMO The Halkin combined an exhibition of new and recent works with an artist talk and informal Q&A, giving guests the opportunity to hear directly from Locke about the ideas and creative processes behind his work.
