Born in 1978 in Brussels, this artist has embarked on a remarkable creative journey that spans continents and diverse cultural landscapes. His artistic endeavors began with a comprehensive education in fine arts and applied arts at the Saint-Luc Institute in Brussels, followed by further studies in Paris and a profound artistic immersion at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China from 2010 to 2012.
Having explored 38 countries across various continents, his travels exposed him to a rich tapestry of global cultures. From the vibrant landscapes of North and Central Africa to the diverse European countries of Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, as well as the captivating realms of Asia in India and China, each place left an indelible mark on his artistic sensibilities.
His fascination with Chinese artistry led him to reside in China for nearly three years. During this time, he orchestrated exhibitions in multiple international cities, including Brussels, Baku, Astana, Beijing, Xinjiang, and Istanbul. His profound appreciation for Sufism, Ottoman calligraphy, and İznik Tile Art ignited a passion that ultimately drew him to Istanbul, a city he chose as a permanent residence to further immerse himself in these cultural influences and continue his artistic pursuits.
Now based in London, his current works are a reflection of the inspirations derived from the iconic landmarks and the cultural richness of this vibrant city, capturing the essence of London's famous heritage through his artistic creations.
